My name is Nada, and I'm the Canadian Community Manager for Etsy. I work to help empower the already vibrant community of Canadian Etsians by celebrating our unique DIY spirit. I'm excited to be apart of this global movement, and represent my fellow Canadian crafters and entrepreneurs.
Prior to this, I lived in sunny California, at an organization called Invisible Children. This is where my love of collaborative movements was ignited. I worked specifically with artists and musicians to raise awareness and funds for the rehabilitation of child soldiers in East Africa. The most important thing I learned there was to work purposefully and to stay humble! After all my travels, I'm so happy to be back in my hometown of Toronto. I love tacos, vintage dresses and vinyl. Eating a taco in a fancy dress while listening to records is obviously my kind of night...
