We loved our rings that were custom ordered! Marilyn was professional, responded very quickly, and got our rings to us quickly. Having rings that were more eco friendly was a priority for us and we were not disappointed when we got them. We are very happy to recommend MeanderWorks!

Beautiful, dainty band with incredible detail. Perfect compliment to my engagement ring. Slight issue with using USPS but we got it figured out!
Meander Works is a socially and environmentally responsible one-woman studio.
I’m Marilyn Brogan and I’m the owner, maker, designer and curator of Meander Works. The woman behind the 1-woman studio, I began my art career amongst the Blue Ridge Mountains in my home state of Virginia. Starting at Virginia Commonwealth University in their highly acclaimed sculpture program, I continued my studies as a Core Student at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina where I fell in love with metalworking.
After the Core fellowship I followed my passion, and a boy, across the country to sunny San Diego where I opened up shop on Etsy. There I sold prints of drawings made at our kitchen table, and a few 2-D pieces that helped me accumulate the equipment and fundamental tools I needed to build a home studio. Eventually, a few pieces of jewelry made their way onto Etsy and in 2010, I was able to move my workspace from our home to a beautiful rooftop studio that was once the piano bar of a historic hotel.
Now my jewelry is created in a room permeated by sunlight and replete with calm, where I can focus and dedicate myself to my craft. For inspiration, I’ve filled my studio with a lot of cacti and succulents, as well as small collections of rocks, shells and tree debris from my daily walks, which influence many of my designs.
I am a proud member of Ethical Metalsmiths and I use reclaimed materials from reputable suppliers to be certain they don't harm the earth or the people who work with them. When you buy from Meander Works, I want you to feel good knowing you have a high quality piece of consciously constructed jewelry, meticulously designed and made specifically with you in mind.

MADE TO ORDER RINGS
All wedding bands and engagement rings, including engraved rings, are custom made to order, and are a final sale. If there is an issue with your ring or in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect, please contact us right away.
READY TO SHIP
Ready to ship jewelry without customization (such as resizing or engraving, prior to shipping) may be returned within 7 days of receipt, in original condition, for exchange or refund. Buyer is responsible for shipping fees, including insurance ( original shipping fee is nonrefundable). Prior authorization is required for all returns.
We are happy to offer one *free* ring re-sizing per ring, on most bands with out stones, up to 1/2 size (smaller or larger) within 60 days of receipt. Some rings can not be re-sized so this service is offered on a case by case basis. You are only responsible for shipping fees both ways and prior authorization is required - please do not ship rings without communicating with us first. I ask for 3 weeks to complete a resizing after I receive the ring.
If you require a resizing beyond the 1/2 size parameter the cost is $50 plus the cost of any additional gold. Buyer is responsible for shipping fees both ways and prior authorization is required.
To avoid delays and extra fees it is extremely important to order the correct ring size. We recommend visiting more than one jewelry store to have your finger properly measured. Be sure to mention to the width of the ring you intend to purchase when getting sized - there are different widths of ring sizers and this can effect the accuracy.
